Thank You!

Welcome to the 2026 NNELL Summer Summit: Building Bridges

Dear NNELL Summer Summit Registrant,

You signed up. That matters.

Not just to us, but to every early language educator across the country who is working hard to keep these programs alive, growing, and full of joy.

We will see you at the 2026 NNELL Summer Summit: Building Bridges.

Monday and Tuesday, July 20 and 21, 2026

Online, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time

This year is special. We are celebrating 40 years of NNELL, 40 years of showing up for early language learners and the people who teach them. We are glad you are part of this milestone.

We are honored to open the summit with our keynote speaker, Dr. Tracy Vik. As principal of the Sioux Falls Spanish Immersion program and founder of Sonia Sotomayor Elementary, South Dakota’s first and only one-way Spanish immersion school, Dr. Vik knows what it takes to build bridges between teachers, administrators, and families. Her school earned the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2022, and she is a 2023 NNELL Outstanding Support for Early Language Learners Award recipient. You are going to love her.

Over the next two days, you will also hear from educators and families who are doing extraordinary things for language learning across the country. You will connect with colleagues who get it. And you will leave with ideas and energy you can bring back to your students.

We will share the full program, presenter details, and your Zoom access links soon.

Your registration includes NNELL membership through August 31, 2026, with access to free professional development, our webinar library, and a network of colleagues who care about the same things you do.

Want to get more involved with NNELL? We would love to connect. Just email us at president@nnell.org.

For membership questions, reach out to Mandi Davis at membership@nnell.org.

Thank you for being here. See you in July.

Warmly,

Edgar Serrano
